Jim Sanders
James (Jim) T. Sanders, Jr.,
CGB, CAPS, CGR, CGS
Jim Sanders is President and Founder of Five Star General Contracting, Inc., the parent company of the SandStar Companies Today; Kitchen & Bath Remodeling, Commercial Construction, and SandStar Homes LLC, doing business as Arthur Rutenberg Homes.
Sanders graduated from the University of Florida’s School of Architecture with a degree in Building Construction. He holds a class A General Contractors license, as well as a Florida Real Estate Brokers license.

Larry Sandles,

Larry Sandles, Vice President/co-principle owner SandStar Companies in Punta Gorda. With 26 years serving the Charlotte County Construction and Real Estate Industry.
Larry is a licensed general contractor and real estate agent in the state of Florida. He is a well know member of the business community. Larry is past president of the Charlotte/Desoto Building Industry Association and past president of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. Larry has served and currently serves on several City of Punta Gorda and Charlotte County boards.
Larry is a community activist and recognized as a knowledgeable local industry representative. Larry and his family reside in Punta Gorda. |

Abbey Roloff is the Kitchen and Bath Designer and Design Center Manager for the SandStar companies.
Abbey graduated from Edison Community College with an AS in Drafting and Design and has received Associate certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
She is currently working on her BA in Interior Design and her CKD/CBD Certification from the NKBA. Abbey resides in Punta Gorda with her husband Alan. |

Debra Gurin has been part of the SandStar Team since January 2000 after moving to Florida. Her background progressed from working for an engineering firm, to an Architect, then Builders; ultimately designing award-winning plans for NVR Homes.
As SandStar’s Creative Design Director she wears several hats from architectural designer to project coordinator for structural engineering, trusses & the permitting process. Most importantly her vision ensures the right plan for the client and the homesite, from a total custom home to simply personalizing one of our existing models or renovating an existing home. |

Rosanna Dermer is the Construction Office and Purchasing Administrator for the SandStar companies.
Rosanna brings with her 38 years in the construction industry, including 20 years as an Electrical Journeyman.
She has resided in Charlotte County for 40 years and is the proud mother of three and grandmother of three.

Tina Bongiovani is our Accountant here at SandStar Companies. She was born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut. It wasn’t until the year 2000 that she relocated to sunny Florida, where she now calls Port Charlotte home.
Tina attended Southwest Florida College, where she was awarded her Associate’s Degree in Accounting in the year 2006. Tina plans to return to college to finish her Bachelor’s Degree, but in the meantime, she is concentrating on being a great mommy for her beautiful little girl named Sadie. |
